Those Daring Darlings Necklace
Those Daring Darlings Necklace
Named after the group of real Cowgirls that paved the way for the New West, this sassy Navajo Pearl squash blossom tassel necklace is shown with 5 mm Navajo pearls in 16”-20” PLUS a 5” long tassel made of 2 mm Navajo pearls.
This is an individually hand made item, manufactured at time of order. Lead time could be up to 10 days.
“Those Daring Darlings” were a fantastic group of women made up of Reine Hafley, Fox Hastings, Rose Smith, Ruth Roach, Mabel DeLong Strickland, Prairie Rose Henderson and Dorothy Morrell. They were the trick riders and sharp shooters who invented what we know today as Steer wrestling (known then as bulldogging), trick bronc riding and Roman racing. They even road bulls…. And some died for their efforts.
These ladies brought it all and with great style! Prairie Rose Henderson is largely credited with breaking out a fashion all her own that led to today’s fancy rodeo style.
They were most definitely fearless, stylish and brought a gunslinger girl sass to all things Western.
As many of you know, Those Daring Darlings serve as the backdrop to my traveling rodeo display!
